January’s event will incorporate Brunch at Out The Door Bush St. and a short volunteer session with a Food Runners route on Sunday, 1/23/2011.

Where: Out The Door Bush. St & Fort Mason Farmers Market

Address: 2232 Bush St. (b/t Fillmore & Steiner) & Fort Mason Farmers Market (Marina Safeway Parking Lot)

We invite you to join us for a Brunch at Out The Door from 11:30am – 1pm. This will give new & old volunteers a chance to meet before our Food Runners route. You may even choose not to eat but join us and hang out. Expec t brunch to run about $10.

At 1pm, we will head over to Fort Mason Farmers Market to collect leftover produce & goods from the vendors. Once collected, we will go on our separate routes to pre-assigned drop off points.
The Food Runners Route will be limited to 12 heads as this is the max capacity of 3 cars. We will take volunteers on a first come first serve basis. We will email you confirmation and event details once you RSVP. RSVP at our Boobs4Food Facebook Event Page.
If you opt out of the brunch portion, please meet in front of the Marina Safeway parking lot at 1:15pm. We should be able to complete vendor pick ups and drop offs by 3pm at the very latest.

Rain or shine, we shall be brunching and rescuing the farmers market donations. See you there!

About FoodRunners:
Food Runners is a volunteer organization dedicated to alleviating hunger in San Francisco. Our volunteers deliver over 10 tons of food a week to agencies feeding people in need. Food Runners picks up excess perishable and prepared food from businesses such as restaurants, caterers, bakeries, hospitals, event planners, corporate cafeterias, and hotels and delivers it directly to shelters and neighborhood programs that feed the hungry.
